CORY REEVES
BUSINESS MANAGER
Cory W. Reeves, a native of Indiana, is the Business Manager of the Hope Unity Freedom (HUF) Center. With 6 years of experience at the HUF center, Cory has been a valuable leader, contributing greatly to the growth and development of the company. In doing so, Cory has also expanded his personal expertise within the field, allowing him to effectively collaborate with management to provide resources necessary for a successful psychosocial rehabilitation and partial hospitalization programs.
Cory, a Certified Billing Specialist and member of the American Medical Billing Association, is responsible for the following duties at all HUF Center locations: accounts payable; accounts receivable; producing and reviewing financial statements; financial decision making; payroll; employee benefits; ensuring billing requirements are met; coordinating consumer insurance; prior authorizations; inventory; and organizing work contractors or subcontractors. In addition, Cory coordinates with Virginia Medicaid and the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) concerning any policy or guideline changes.
Currently, the program assists individuals in both central Virginia and the Tidewater area of Virginia, with two locations in Richmond, and one in Newport News. Furthermore, additional locations in Colonial Heights and Norfolk are set to open in 2011. Since Cory has come to regard the HUF center as his second family, he is very eager to further facilitate in the expansion of the program, which will subsequently allow the HUF center to provide services to a larger number of individuals throughout Virginia who are living in psychiatric distress.
